Hey Legend Trippers, Do you
know that supposedly there are pyramids underwater in the infamous Bermuda
Triangle? Well some people believe that there is a vast underwater city located
off the coast of Florida. I was watching
an episode of my favorite show “In Search Of”. It featured a story about
gentleman by the name of Raymond Brown, who went scuba diving off the Bari
Islands in the Bahamas in 1970, right after a storm. Mr. Brown related that
while he was out treasure hunting, he found a whole underwater city unearthed
by the storm. The real exciting part is when he found a huge crystal pyramid exposed
from the surface bed. The pyramid was situated 22 fathoms down, stood 120 feet
high, with only 90 feet projecting out of the sea floor shifting sands. He was
amazed that the sides of the crystal pyramid were completely smooth and the
joints between the individual blocks to be nearly imperceptible.
He found an opening and
entered inside to investigate. Inside the pyramid, Ray found that the inside walls
was clean, smooth and free of algae and coral. Brown had brought no flashlight;
he could nevertheless see everything in the room perfectly. Brown claimed that he
was able to see the interior clearly as the room was well-lit but there was no
detectable source of light. He tried to remove a multi-faceted red gemstone
attached to a metallic rod that descended from the center of the ceiling, but was
unable to dislodge it. About four feet below the point of the red gemstone,
stood a bronze metal sculpture of two open hands, and resting upon the palms of
the hands was a crystal sphere, about four inches in diameter. He was surprised
that he could lift the crystal sphere easily. And so he seized his prize and
headed toward the exit. As he did so, he felt an invisible presence come near
and a voice that warned him never to return. Concerned that his prize might be
taken away from him by the government as salvage treasure, Ray kept the unusual
sphere – and his story – hidden until 1975.
The Atlantean Crystal Sphere
as it is now known is approximately the size of a tennis ball and the images of
three pyramids, one in front of the other can be seen inside of it. Thousands of tiny fracture lines also appear
and may be electrical in nature, like some form of microscopic circuitry. At
another angle, some have claimed to see a faint image of a large single eye
serenely gazing out at them. A compass needle placed next to the sphere will
spin counterclockwise, then begin turning in the opposite direction when moved
only two inches away.
Ray Brown’s Atlantean
crystal sphere has only made a few public appearances since 1975. When Ray
Brown passed on at the age of 89, the Atlantean sphere came into the
guardianship of Arthur Fanning. It was at the 9-9-9 Crystal Skulls World
Mysteries Conference in Arizona and the 10-10-10 Legend of the 13 Skulls
Conference in New York. Supposedly, whenever Atlantean crystal sphere has been
displayed, mysterious occurrences have often been reported: phantom lights; feeling
a breath of wind; hot and cold sensations; tingling of energy; hearing voices.
Some have claimed to experience healing from the sphere. At times, compasses
have been affected when placed next to the crystal while some metals seemed to
have become temporarily magnetic.
Now my own opinion on this
is that there simply aren’t enough facts to say whether or not these new
findings are true. I do believe in the lost city of Atlantis can it could be
located somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean. I do believe that something mysterious
is going on in the area known as the Bermuda Triangle. But I find it hard to believe
that a certified scuba diver would just enter an unknown structure like that
without any regard to his own safety. In other words Mr. Brown had no idea what
was in that pyramid. He took a big risk going in there along. Any certified
scuba diver will tell you that you do not dive along let alone enter any
underwater structure by yourself.
Also two things come to mind,
first: I find it odd that the science community hasn't taken an interest in this Atlantean Crystal Sphere and conducted tests on it and second: how come
there are no underwater science groups going out and trying to find this
underwater city. Recently I found an online article about a team of French
explorers who believe that they also discovered a partially translucent,
crystal-like pyramid rising from the Caribbean seabed in Dec 2012, and that’s
it, nothing else. I read another site that states that the sphere is connected
to the crystal skulls, which turned out to be a hoax.
I know some of you are
saying that it is important to note that because something is not in mainstream
media it does not mean it is fake, however this on simply doesn't have much
else to go along with it so we cannot say YES or NO about this one. For me the
jury is still out on this subject, but it does make for an exciting and
fantastic legend. Recently I found a site where the caretaker of the sphere is
using it to heal people with chronic body pains. You can even buy jewelry that
is supposed to be in tune with the sphere. I know what you’re thinking but that
