Ghost Hunting Equipment 101: The laser grid pen

Hey Legend Trippers, with ghost hunting season in full swing, it time to look at another cool piece of ghost hunting equipment. I like this gadget because it’s really neat to use and it’s not expensive. The device is called a Laser Grid Pen.

When ghost hunting was in its infancy, a problem that paranormal investigators were having was that when they caught movement on their cameras, but they couldn't quite make out a shape or whether it even has a mass to it? Then the Laser Grid pen came along. This high powered laser emits a grid of green dots that can be cast on a desired location. The device would then detect shadows or general visual disturbances by the apparent breaking of the laser pattern cast on a room. The laser grid device is so small and easy to use that it can easily be set up in front of any running camera.

This gadget also helps define the object or appreciation’s shape and whether it actually has some kind of mass to it. Because of the usefulness and loss cost, some investigators swear by them and will have the laser grid in front of a running camera throughout the investigation. Later the paranormal investigator can then go back and review the video frame by frame in the video and observe where the pattern shifts thereby drawing an outline shape of the entity itself. If the pattern moves a certain way you can even determine if the entity has 3-dimensional mass and map that as well.

If you are just starting out with paranormal investigations, then this device is great to have with your camera and it won’t take a large chunk out of your wallet.  Even the youngest members of your team will like using then I suggest getting this device.
